Sandcastle migrated Zipfizz.com from the legacy AbleCommerce platform to Shopify, implementing a custom responsive theme based on provided design layouts to deliver a modern, mobile-friendly shopping experience. Our team handled the migration of product data, crafted new content and page structures, and ensured seamless integration with payment gateways, UPS shipping, and MailChimp for newsletter signups. We customized the Shopify theme to match Zipfizz’s strong brand identity and built unique templates to highlight product categories, lifestyle content, and promotional campaigns. To address complex tax requirements, the site was later upgraded from Shopify Standard to Shopify Plus, enabling the use of Avalara AvaTax for advanced automated tax calculations.
